Before the dance...

So, I nearly missed school today. Living in Arizona, heat's to be expected in all that, however, today was INSANE. I started walking to school at around 8 in the morning to find that I couldn't walk 4 steps without being slapped by an otherworldly flaming fist. So, I rode the bike, even though I had nothing to do immadiately after school.

I devised a plan to get Sonic before going to school, though. I'd ride the bike past the school, where a security guard would see me (and he did) and stop me with my Sonic cup and tell me to get rid of it. However, I was able to go around, get my Sonic, and then use a side entrance, lock up my bike, and success would occur. That cherry limeade was so damn great on such a hot day.

Anyway, school school yadda yadda ya. Same as any other day, played some bingo, wrote about my courageous experiences, read some Beowulf, and talked about the Kill Bill monologue I'm thinking of auditioning for the school play with. In which case, if I decide to audition, I'll be using this one:

Anyway, so I wanted to bring up this dead cockroach I see every day while walking to/from school, it's damn hideous, and huge. I hate cockroaches. I've already explained my fear of spiders, but I have a fear of insects in general, and cockroaches are on the top of that list. I know it's dead, I know that it won't work, but it's fucking HUGE. You'd be scared if you saw a giant bear, dead or alive. They're analogous to each other. So yeah, I'm pathetic, and I ride my bike/walk AROUND the very small (but big) cockroach, to make sure it doesn't somehow destroy me with it's deadness. I hate cockroaches.

I'm too scared to Google "cockroach" so I took the safe route..
Whatever, I'm out. I'm gonna live my next couple hours of life in peace, and then me and a few of my friends are gonna sit in a corner at the Freshman dance. Should be fun, in a sense? I'll blog afterward. Peace'o.

  1. Ew on the cockroach I don't like them or spiders either actually. Other bugs are fine.

Good luck with auditioning for the school play,
Well if you do. I think you should, you'd break out of your little shy bubble! It'd be great. :)
