Up Ahead: Excitement

Hey kids.

My weeks have been completely littered with things that actually consume my time rather than waste it. Sure, my nights are the parts of my days where I waste, but hey, if you've got time to waste, you waste it.

Anyway, things are boiling down at school. My Senior paper's due Friday (it's about why I think Religion shouldn't be an everyday part of American life, hah), the play will (hopefully, if people memorize lines) be ready to perform in about 2 weeks, I just turned 18, and the most exciting, spirit week's coming up. I love Spirit Week.

I really love Spirit Week

Although this Spirit Week doesn't have a Monday since we honor someone who isn't responsible for our country's founding, it should still be fun. Though the days are severely lacking in do-ability. Like, they can be done, but it takes too much funding. Tuesday's History Channel day, and since I'm the president of French club, I'm going to be Van Gogh, I've got that together for the most part, and since my mom's handy with gauze tape, the whole missing ear thing can be done. Wednesday is ESPN day, which is dumb since we had a day like that last Spirit Week, but I'll find something to wear for that, I know I'll be bringing along my mega inflatable pink bat.

Thursday is where the real challenge comes, it's MTV day. That day in particular is severely specific and I just told myself it's "music day" in general. Regardless, I'm going to TRY and become the Spaceman, though that really seems too difficult to do, if I can, I will, if not, I have to think of some other music artist to dress up as. And finally, as obligatory at Peoria High School, Friday is green and gold day, exciting, right?

Sarcasm aside, that Friday will be fun, I'm running down the street for a part of my school day with the rest of the theater kids, then we have a huge carnival thing to do later on in the day, and later that night I'm doing my Senior pictures. That should be fun. I'm as of yet undecided if I'm going to homecoming, but all my friends are asking me to go, so if I can put something together, I'll go.

Whatever, if you have any ideas as to what I could be for MTV day, tell me, I'd like to know, the spaceman seems so out of reach.

I should probably end the blog now since my cat's proceeded to lay on my arms, so typing has become very difficult.
